Porous surfaces should be pre-moistened with potable water to improve bonding. For mechanical consistency, a powered mixer should be used to blend the powder with water for 5 minutes, followed by an additional 2 minutes of re-mixing before application.

Application is simple yet precise: cracks, holes, and masonry joints are first repaired using UN1ON Krack Seal. The mixed plaster is applied uniformly with a steel trowel and leveled using straight edges, masonry bobs, or floats to achieve the desired finish. For multi-layer applications, roughen the first coat to ensure good adhesion of the second coat, saturating it before reapplication. Coverage varies depending on the finish, with 5 mm thickness covering approximately 1–1.5 sq. ft. per kg.

UN1ON Screed PL is supplied in convenient 40 kg bags, and all tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with water. The product should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C or exposed to running water during application. Proper storage in dry, covered conditions ensures a shelf life of 6 months.
